Seated at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, the Gamma Nu chapter of Lambda Theta Alpha was founded in 2003. Gamma Nu was the first chapter to be established in Georgia, and is now a part of the Southeast region and Georgia Area One of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Incorporated.
Gamma Nu prides itself on being comprised of extremely diverse female leaders. Gamma Nu is made up of nearly thirty distinct cultures, bearing LTA's motto "Latin by tradition, not by definition" close to heart.
